SEE ALSO...

LTRPC7 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LTRPC7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LTRPC7 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LTRPC7 protein plays a crucial role in calcium signaling, functioning as a divalent cation channel that facilitates calcium and magnesium ion entry into cells. LTRPC7 function is particularly important for various physiological processes, including muscle contraction, neurotransmitter release, and cellular signaling pathways. LTRPC7-mediated store-operated calcium entry is vital for replenishing intracellular calcium stores depleted during cellular activation, thus maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. LTRPC7 belongs to the long TRPC subfamily, characterized by a large open reading frame of approximately 1600 amino acids, which contributes to unique regulatory properties and interactions with other proteins involved in calcium signaling.
