SEE ALSO...

LTBP-3 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LTBP-3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LTBP-3 Antibody (H-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LTBP-3, or latent TGF-beta-binding protein 3, serves as a crucial structural component of connective tissue microfibrils, significantly influencing the secretion and targeting of TGF-beta1, a key regulator in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and immune response. Proper functioning of LTBP-3 is vital for maintaining extracellular matrix integrity and facilitating tissue repair, making LTBP-3 an important protein in both normal physiology and pathological conditions. High expression levels of LTBP-3 have been observed in human heart, skeletal muscle, prostate, and ovaries, as well as in certain osteosarcoma and fibroblastic cell lines, indicating LTBP-3′s relevance in various biological contexts. Additionally, human LTBP-3 is located on chromosome 11q12, further emphasizing LTBP-3′s significance in genetic studies and potential therapeutic targets.
