    LRRC40 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects LRRC40 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRRC40 (C-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LRRC40 protein consists of 602 amino acids and features twenty leucine-rich repeats, playing a crucial role in mediating protein-protein interactions vital for various cellular processes, including innate immunity and nervous system development. The leucine-rich repeat (LRR) motif, characterized by a 20-30 amino acid sequence forming a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold, accommodates several leucine residues within a tightly packed core, providing a versatile structural framework essential for interaction formation. Mutations in genes encoding LRR-containing proteins, such as LRRC40, have been linked to several human diseases, highlighting LRRC40′s importance in maintaining cellular function and integrity.
