LOXL1 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LOXL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LOXL1 (H-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The lysyl oxidase-like 1 (LOXL1) protein plays a crucial role in the formation of elastin, a key component of the extracellular matrix that provides elasticity and resilience to tissues. LOXL1 catalyzes the cross-linking of elastin fibers, maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of elastic tissues, such as those found in the lungs, skin, and blood vessels. LOXL1 function is vital for normal tissue development and repair, and dysregulation has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including fibrosis and cardiovascular diseases.
