LITAF Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects LITAF in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LITAF, or LPS-induced TNFα factor, is a nuclear protein that plays a pivotal role in the regulation of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) gene transcription, which is essential for the inflammatory response to bacterial infections. LITAF mediates the secretion of TNFα and other inflammatory mediators in response to lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a potent stimulator of monocytes and macrophages. High expression levels of LITAF mRNA have been predominantly observed in tissues such as the placenta, peripheral blood leukocytes, lymph nodes, and spleen, highlighting LITAF′s critical role in immune responses. LITAF interacts with various signaling pathways, including the LITAF-Stat6B complex, which further underscores LITAF′s significance in the regulation of inflammatory cytokines. Anti-LITAF antibody (D-5) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of inflammation and immune response in human health and disease.
