SEE ALSO...

LIN-41 Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects LIN-41 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LIN-41 (E-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LIN-41 protein, also known as tripartite motif-containing 71 (TRIM71), plays a crucial role in regulating cell fate determination during development by encoding microRNAs (miRNAs) that downregulate its own expression through binding to complementary sites on the 3′ untranslated region (UTR) of the LIN-41 gene. This regulatory mechanism ensures the timely expression of LIN-29, a transcription factor essential for adult cell specification. LIN-41 is predominantly expressed in developing limb buds, tail buds, and brachial arches, highlighting its importance in embryonic development. Mutations in the LIN-41 gene can lead to premature differentiation of adult tissues during larval stages, underscoring LIN-41′s critical role in developmental timing and cellular identity.

Are there any issues with using sc-393352: LIN-41 (E-1) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-393352 conjugates.
