SEE ALSO...

LIN-28 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects LIN-28 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-LIN-28 antibody (C-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LIN-28 is a highly conserved, RNA-binding protein located primarily in the cytoplasm, playing a crucial role in regulating developmental timing during embryogenesis. LIN-28 presence is particularly significant in embryos, embryonic stem cells, and embryonal carcinoma cells, where LIN-28 influences cellular differentiation and growth. LIN-28 interacts with insulin-like growth factor II (IGF-II), enhancing protein synthesis efficiency in differentiating myoblasts, which is vital for muscle development and regeneration. LIN-28 expression persists in certain adult tissues, including cardiac and skeletal muscle, highlighting LIN-28′s importance in both developmental and adult physiological processes.
