SEE ALSO...

LIN-28 Antibody (6D1F9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LIN-28 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). LIN-28 (6D1F9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LIN-28 is a highly conserved, RNA-binding protein located in the cytoplasm, characterized by a cold shock domain and retroviral-type (CCHC) zinc finger motifs, first identified in Caenorhabditis elegans. LIN-28 plays a crucial role in regulating developmental timing during embryogenesis, showing prominent expression in embryos, embryonic stem cells, and embryonal carcinoma cells. LIN-28 expression persists in certain adult tissues, including cardiac and skeletal muscle, where LIN-28 enhances protein synthesis efficiency in differentiating myoblasts and interacts with growth and differentiation factor IGF-II. LIN-28′s ability to modulate these processes highlights significant implications for developmental biology, regenerative medicine, and cancer research.
