LGR4 Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LGR4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LGR4 (C-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LGR4, also known as leucine-rich repeat-containing G protein-coupled receptor 4 or GPR48, is a 951 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein characterized by 15 leucine-rich repeats, which are crucial for structural integrity and function as a receptor. LGR4 is predominantly expressed in several tissues, including testis, ovary, placenta, stomach, heart, kidney, pancreas, and spleen, where LGR4 plays a significant role as an orphan receptor, potentially influencing various physiological processes. LGR4 is implicated in cancer biology, as LGR4 is overexpressed in multiple cancer types, contributing to enhanced invasiveness and metastasis of carcinoma cells, thereby highlighting LGR4′s importance in tumor progression and making LGR4 a potential target for therapeutic intervention.

Hello, what conditions are you using for western blot? What blocking in particular and what antibody dilution? Do you have a protocol?

Asked by: Gabe1980
Thank you for your question. You can find our recommended western blotting protocol under this link: https://www.scbt.com/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting The recommended dilution range for this antibody in western blots is between 1:100 and 1:1000 depending on the samples you are working with. The recommended starting dilution is 1:100. You can find this and further information in the antibody's datasheet which is available from its product page.
