Lamin B1 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Lamin B1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Lamin B1 plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of the nuclear envelope and is a key component of the nuclear lamina, which provides a supportive framework for the nucleus and interacts with chromatin to regulate gene expression. Anti-Lamin B1 antibody (B-10) helps researchers study cellular longevity and stability, as Lamin B1 helps preserve nuclear shape and organization during cell division and in response to various cellular stresses. Additionally, Lamin B1 undergoes several post-translational modifications, including farnesylation and phosphorylation, which are vital for function and regulation. Notably, increased phosphorylation of Lamin B1 has been observed prior to nuclear envelope disintegration, suggesting involvement in the apoptotic process. Lamin B1 (B-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, making this antibody a versatile tool for studying nuclear dynamics and apoptosis.

Hi, do the directly labelled antibodies still have the Fc part. Indeed, one aim to use them would be to use another antibody made in mouse simultaneously in IF

I used to do ChIP by using anti-LaminB (M-20) sc-6217 with Dynabeads protein G, and it worked well. Which magnetic beads do you recommend for ChIP using Lamin B1 Antibody (B-10): sc-374015 ?

I'm trying to use this Ab for IF in dermal fibroblasts, so far with no results. I use methanol fixation at -20C for 5 min, 0,3% triton RT 3min, FBS blocking for 30 min and primary Ab incubation at 4C ON. Should I do anything different for it to work?
