L3MBTL3 Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects L3MBTL3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-L3MBTL3 antibody (F-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. L3MBTL3, also known as lethal(3)malignant brain tumor-like protein 3, is a crucial member of the polycomb group (PcG) proteins, which play a significant role in maintaining the transcriptionally repressed state of target genes through chromatin modification. L3MBTL3 is localized in the nucleus and is essential for the regulation of gene expression during development and cellular differentiation. L3MBTL3 contains three MBT repeats and one sterile alpha motif (SAM) domain, which are important for interaction with other proteins, including RING1B, another PcG protein involved in early developmental processes such as the specification of the anterior-posterior axis and cell proliferation. Two isoforms of L3MBTL3, produced by alternative splicing, add complexity to functional roles in cellular processes.
