KLF7 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KLF7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KLF7 Antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLF7, or Krüppel-like factor 7, is a transcriptional activator that plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression by targeting promoter regions with CACCC elements, which is vital for the differentiation and development of the nervous system. KLF7 is predominantly expressed in the brain and nervous tissue, where KLF7 is essential for neuronal precursor cells to exit the cell cycle and initiate differentiation. Notably, KLF7 is implicated in the regulation of Trk A, the receptor for nerve growth factor, which is critical for the normal growth and maturation of neurons. Dysregulation of KLF7 expression can lead to significant consequences, including cell cycle arrest and reduced DNA synthesis, highlighting KLF7′s importance in maintaining proper neuronal function and development.
