SEE ALSO...

KLF17 Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects KLF17 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-KLF17 antibody (B-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLF17, also known as zinc finger protein 393 or ZNF393, is a 389 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in germ cell development, particularly in oocyte maturation and spermatid differentiation. KLF17 is primarily expressed in the testis and ovary, where KLF17 functions as a transcription factor that binds to G/C-rich sites through three C2H2-type zinc fingers, thereby activating transcription from CACCC-box elements. KLF17 regulation of gene expression is vital for proper reproductive development, and dysregulation may contribute to fertility issues. Using KLF17 (B-6) monoclonal antibody in research can provide insights into molecular mechanisms underlying germ cell differentiation and broader implications for reproductive health.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398132 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
