    SEE ALSO...

KKIALRE Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KKIALRE protein of human origin and Cdkl1 protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KKIALRE (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KKIALRE protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in MAP kinase regulation, which is essential for mediating responses to growth factors, hormones, and neurotransmitters. MAP kinases, specifically ERK 1 and ERK 2, are activated through dual phosphorylation at specific tyrosine and threonine residues, vital for cell proliferation and differentiation. KKIALRE is closely related to p56 KKIAMRE protein and is predominantly expressed in testis, kidney, brain, and lung, highlighting potential significance in these tissues. KKIALRE contains a conserved dual phosphorylation motif, Thr-Asp-Tyr, typically required for MAP kinase activation; however, EGF stimulation does not necessitate phosphorylation at this site, suggesting a distinct regulatory pathway.
