Kininogen HC Antibody (2B5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Kininogen HC protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Kininogen HC antibody (2B5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Kininogen is a 644 amino acid precursor protein encoded by the KNG1 gene, which is secreted into blood plasma and undergoes alternative splicing to produce several derivatives, including Kininogen LC and Kininogen HC. Kininogen HC protein plays a crucial role in blood coagulation by facilitating proper positioning of prekallikrein and Factor XI, both essential components in the coagulation cascade that interact with Factor XII.
