    SEE ALSO...

KIAA0753 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KIAA0753 protein of human origin, 4933427D14Rik protein of mouse origin, and the corresponding rat homolog by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KIAA0753 (B-3) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KIAA0753 protein consists of 967 amino acids, features a coiled-coil domain and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms, which may have distinct functional roles in cellular processes. KIAA0753 is involved in cellular signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation and differentiation, making KIAA0753 crucial for maintaining normal cellular functions and preventing tumorigenesis. KIAA0753 gene is located on human chromosome 17, a region comprising over 2.5% of the human genome and associated with key tumor suppressor genes such as p53 and BRCA1, which are vital for DNA repair and maintaining genomic stability. KIAA0753 interactions with these tumor suppressors suggests potential involvement in cancer biology, as functional disruptions could contribute to malignancy development. Understanding KIAA0753 dynamics and interactions within cellular environments can provide insights into therapeutic strategies for cancer and chromosomal abnormality-related diseases.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398879 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
