Datasheets
  • KCTD14 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 118-145 within an internal region of KCTD14 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of KCTD14 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for KCTD14 Antibody (H-8) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with KCTD14 Antibody (H-8) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

KCTD14 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects KCTD14 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KCTD14, or potassium channel tetramerisation domain containing 14, is a 255 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a BTB (Broad-Complex, Tramtrack and Bric a brac) domain, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of transcription by influencing chromatin structure and function. KCTD14 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome, highlighting KCTD14′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and potential implications in disease. KCTD14′s ability to interact with other proteins involved in potassium channel regulation further underscores anti-KCTD14 antibody (H-8)′s value as an essential tool for researchers studying these complex mechanisms.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393917 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
