JAM-C Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects JAM-C protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). JAM-C (A-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The junctional adhesion molecule (JAM) family, which includes JAM-C, plays a critical role in maintaining tight junction integrity in epithelial and endothelial cells, thereby regulating paracellular permeability and cell signaling. JAM-C is particularly important for transendothelial migration of leukocytes, a process essential for immune response and inflammation. JAM-C is constitutively expressed on various immune cells, including circulating monocytes, neutrophils, and lymphocyte subsets, facilitating their adhesion and migration during immune surveillance. Notably, JAM-C interacts with JAM-B, suggesting a functional relationship that may influence T cell trafficking and inflammatory response. JAM-C′s ability to modulate leukocyte extravasation highlights its significance in both normal immune function and pathological conditions, making anti-JAM-C antibody (A-4) a valuable tool for researchers studying cell adhesion mechanisms and immune responses.
