ISG20 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ISG20 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ISG20 Antibody (D-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The interferon-stimulated gene 20 (ISG20) protein functions as a 3′ to 5′ exonuclease, specifically degrading single-stranded RNA, which is crucial for the cellular response to viral infections. ISG20 localization in promyelocytic leukemia (PML) nuclear bodies is significant, as ISG20 plays a role in the regulation of antiviral responses and cellular stress. ISG20 is expressed in various human tissues, including peripheral blood leukocytes, spleen, thymus, colon, and lung, and ISG20 constitutive expression is associated with resistance to several viruses, such as vesicular stomatitis virus, influenza virus, and encephalomyocarditis virus. Beyond antiviral properties, ISG20 may also influence estrogen-mediated cellular proliferation and differentiation, highlighting ISG20′s potential role in both immune response and hormonal regulation.
