IRAK-1 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IRAK-1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHCP, and ELISA. IRAK-1 Antibody (F-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IRAK-1 plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in signaling pathways activated by interleukin-1 (IL-1) and Toll-like receptors (TLRs). Upon binding of IL-1 to its receptor, IRAK-1 is recruited to the receptor complex, leading to activation of downstream signaling cascades, including the NF-kB pathway, which is essential for expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines. This process is vital for body′s defense against pathogens, as IRAK-1 helps regulate inflammation and immune responses. IRAK-1 has been shown to interact with several other proteins, including MyD88 and TRAF6, which are key components of signaling pathways that mediate immune response. IRAK-1′s ability to modulate these pathways highlights importance in maintaining immune homeostasis and potential as a therapeutic target in inflammatory diseases.

Hello, I would like to ask if the incubation of IRAK1 sc-5288 should be done with 5% BSA or milk. Thanks.

Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking and both primary and secondary antibody incubations be performed using 5% nonfat milk + TBST. I am looking to use this antibody for IHC. How can I do that with my mouse tissue samples?

We recommend using directly conjugated primary antibodies. This product, sc-5288, is available directly conjugated to AF488, AF647, and FITC.
