    SEE ALSO...

ILT Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ILT protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ILT (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ILT protein, part of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor family, plays a crucial role in immune regulation, particularly in modulating the activity of immune cells such as monocytes, B cells, and natural killer cells. ILT protein′s ability to interact with specific ligands allows for either stimulation or inhibition of immune responses, which is vital for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing overactive immune reactions that can lead to autoimmune diseases. ILT family consists of several members, including ILT-1 through ILT-8 and LIR-6 and LIR-8, which are categorized into two subfamilies based on signaling functions. Subfamily A members act as stimulatory receptors, while subfamily B members serve as inhibitory receptors, highlighting the complexity of immune regulation mediated by ILT proteins. Understanding the functional dynamics of ILT proteins is essential for developing therapeutic strategies targeting immune-related disorders.
