SEE ALSO...

IleRS Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IleRS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IleRS (D-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. The isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase (IleRS) plays a crucial role in protein synthesis by ensuring accurate attachment of isoleucine to corresponding tRNA, which is essential for maintaining translation fidelity. IleRS′s ability to discriminate between structurally similar amino acids isoleucine and valine is vital, as mischarging tRNA with valine instead of isoleucine can lead to faulty protein production, potentially resulting in cellular dysfunction. IleRS′s hydrolytic editing mechanism enhances amino acid selection accuracy and serves as a quality control step in protein synthesis, underscoring importance in cellular health and function. Human IleRS has been implicated as a target of antibodies in autoimmune disease polymyositis, highlighting relevance in both basic biology and clinical research.
