SEE ALSO...

IKK-ε Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IKK-ε protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IKK-ε (A-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IKK-ε protein, also known as IKBKE or IKK-i, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in immune response by regulating the activation of transcription factor NFκB. IKK-ε protein is primarily expressed in immune cells and is induced by stimuli such as lipopolysaccharide and proinflammatory cytokines like TNFα, IL-1, and IL-6. IKK-ε protein is essential for phosphorylation of IκBα at specific serine residues, which leads to degradation of IκB and subsequent release and activation of NFκB. IKK-ε protein′s ability to modulate NFκB signaling is significant, as NFκB is involved in various cellular processes, including inflammation, immune response, and cell survival. Overexpression of IKK-ε protein has been linked to enhanced phosphorylation of IκBα and increased NFκB activity, indicating a potential role as an IκB kinase in immune regulation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is not working in liver cancer cell linesI tested this antibody in the liver cancer line Snu449. The antibody picked up several bands. It seems that none of those bands is located around 80KDa. So, it might not work in liver cancer line Snu449.
