SEE ALSO...

IGFBP1 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IGFBP1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IGFBP1 (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Insulin-like growth factor-binding proteins (IGFBPs) are crucial regulators of the IGF signaling system, and IGFBP1 plays a significant role in modulating IGF bioavailability by binding and influencing distribution in the extracellular environment. IGFBP1 regulation is particularly important as insulin production negatively regulates IGFBP1, making IGFBP1 a key player in metabolic processes and fetal development. IGFBP1 gene expression is notably high during fetal liver development and responds to nutritional changes and diabetic conditions, highlighting IGFBP1′s importance in growth regulation and metabolic health. IGFBP1 interacts with other IGFBPs, such as IGFBP2, which may function as a chaperone for IGFs, and IGFBP3, the most abundant IGFBP that complexes with a significant portion of serum IGFs. Understanding IGFBP1 dynamics and interactions is essential for elucidating IGFBP1′s role in growth regulation and potential implications in various diseases.
