IFIT3 Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IFIT3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IFIT3 (B-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IFIT3, also known as interferon-induced protein with tetratricopeptide repeats 3, is a 490 amino acid protein characterized by eight tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs, which are crucial for mediating protein-protein interactions. These TPR motifs, consisting of a degenerate 34 amino acid sequence, facilitate the assembly of protein complexes essential for various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation and cellular proliferation. IFIT3′s interaction with other proteins through TPR motifs underscores IFIT3′s importance in cellular response to interferons, which are critical for antiviral defense and immune regulation. IFIT3 gene is located on human chromosome 10, a region associated with several genetic disorders, highlighting IFIT3′s potential implications in both health and disease.
