IFI-16 Antibody (1G7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IFI-16 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IFI-16 antibody (1G7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IFI-16 plays a crucial role in immune response, particularly in viral DNA recognition, which is essential for initiating appropriate immune reactions. IFI-16 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where IFI-16 functions as a transcriptional regulator and modulates various signaling pathways, including those activated by interferons.
