HuR Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects HuR in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HuR, also known as HuA, is a member of the Elav-like family of RNA-binding proteins and plays a crucial role in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. HuR (G-8) antibody targets a protein predominantly located in the nucleus, where HuR binds to AU-rich elements in the 3′-untranslated regions of target mRNAs, thereby stabilizing these transcripts and preventing their degradation.
