HSP 70 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects HSP 70 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HSP 70 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HSP 70 plays a crucial role as a molecular chaperone, facilitating proper folding of nascent polypeptide chains and preventing misfolded protein aggregation, which maintains cellular homeostasis and function. HSP 70 expression increases significantly under stress conditions, such as heat shock, protecting cells from damage. HSP 70 primarily resides in the cytosol and nucleus of mammalian cells, assisting in polypeptide translocation across cellular membranes and into the nucleus, ensuring proteins reach correct destinations and maintain functional conformations.
