HSP 70 Antibody (3A3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HSP 70 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-HSP 70 antibody (3A3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HSP 70 (3A3) antibody recognizes heat shock protein A (Hsp70), which plays a crucial role as a molecular chaperone, facilitating proper folding of nascent polypeptide chains and preventing aggregation of misfolded proteins - vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis, especially under stress conditions. HSP 70 protein is predominantly located in the cytosol and nucleus of mammalian cells, where HSP 70 assists in translocation of polypeptides across cellular membranes and into the nucleus. HSP 70 expression significantly increases in response to heat stress, highlighting HSP 70′s importance in cellular protection and recovery during stressful conditions. HSP 70 family, including HSC 70, GRP 75, and GRP 78, collectively contributes to various cellular processes, including assembly of multi-protein complexes and import of proteins into organelles, underscoring HSP 70′s essential role in cellular function and survival.

Thank you for your question. HSP 70 Antibody (3A3): sc-32239 was raised against recombinant human HSP 70. No epitope mapping has been performed as of yet, so its exact epitope region on its target protein is unknown.
