    SEE ALSO...

HRPAP20 Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects HRPAP20 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HRPAP20 (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HRPAP20 protein, also known as hormone-regulated proliferation-associated protein 20, consists of 175 amino acids and is encoded by the human gene NDUFAF4. HRPAP20 plays a crucial role in cellular proliferation and apoptosis regulation, making HRPAP20 significant in cancer biology. HRPAP20 enhances cell proliferation and suppresses apoptosis in tumor cell lines, characteristics often linked to malignant progression. Elevated levels of HRPAP20 have been observed in invasive breast cancer cell lines and human breast tumor specimens, indicating HRPAP20′s potential role in increasing malignant cell invasion. Transfection of cell lines such as MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 with HRPAP20 leads to increased secretion of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), an enzyme associated with tumor invasion and metastasis. Knockdown of HRPAP20 using small interfering RNA results in reduced invasion and inhibition of MMP-9 secretion, highlighting HRPAP20′s importance in cancer progression and potential as a therapeutic target.
