SEE ALSO...

HoxB9 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HoxB9 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HoxB9 antibody (H-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HoxB9 plays a crucial role in embryonic development and cellular differentiation by regulating downstream target genes, which is essential for proper morphogenesis along the anterior-posterior body axis. Specifically, HoxB9 directs DNA-protein and protein-protein interactions vital for establishing structural characteristics of developing tissues. The mammalian HOX gene complex comprises 39 genes distributed across four linkage groups on four chromosomes, with the HoxB cluster in mice containing HoxB1 to HoxB9 and HoxB13, all transcribed in the same direction. HoxB9 interacts with transcriptional cofactors BTG1 and BTG2, which enhance transcriptional activity. Dysregulation of HoxB9 expression has been linked to various forms of leukemia, highlighting its importance in both normal development and disease.
