HoxA3 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HoxA3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-HoxA3 antibody (F-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HoxA3 plays a crucial role in developmental processes and cellular differentiation by regulating the expression of downstream target genes. Specifically, HoxA3 is involved in the intricate network of DNA-protein and protein-protein interactions that shape the morphologic features along the anterior-posterior body axis. The mammalian HOX gene complex comprises 39 genes distributed across four chromosomes, with HoxA3 being essential for the development of various structures, including the thymus, parathyroid gland, and carotid body, in conjunction with Pax1. HoxA3 expression in the third pharyngeal arch and pouch is vital for the formation of the third arch artery, and studies have shown that homozygous null HoxA3 mutants exhibit a complete absence of the carotid body. Additionally, HoxA3 is instrumental in hindbrain development, influencing the axon projection patterns of both motor and sensory neurons in the proximal and distal ganglia, underscoring its importance in neurodevelopmental processes.
