hnRNP UL1 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP UL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-hnRNP UL1 antibody (C-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein UL1, also known as E1B-AP5 or HNRPUL1, is a crucial 856 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a significant role in mRNA processing and transport, functioning as a transcriptional regulator. hnRNP UL1 interacts with adenovirus E1B-55kDa oncoprotein, which is essential for mediating nucleocytoplasmic RNA transport in E1B-55kDa-infected cells. This interaction highlights hnRNP UL1′s importance in viral pathogenesis and cellular response to viral infections. Alternative splicing produces five isoforms of hnRNP UL1, contributing to diverse functional roles in RNA metabolism and regulation.
