HEXIM2 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HEXIM2 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HEXIM2 Antibody (B-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HEXIM2 plays a crucial role in regulating transcription elongation by inhibiting the Positive Transcription Elongation Factor b (P-TEFb) complex, which is essential for proper expression of eukaryotic genes. The P-TEFb complex consists of a catalytic subunit, Cdk9, paired with either Cyclin T1 or T2, and is vital for transitioning RNA polymerase II into the elongation phase of transcription. By binding to the 7SK small nuclear ribonucleic acid particle, HEXIM2, along with HEXIM1, forms stable oligomers necessary for gene expression regulation. The distinct expression patterns of HEXIM1 and HEXIM2 across various cell lines and human tissues highlight their unique regulatory roles, making anti-HEXIM2 antibody (B-9) a significant tool for studies related to transcriptional control and disease implications.
