    SEE ALSO...

HEXIM2 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HEXIM2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HEXIM2 (A-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HEXIM2 plays a crucial role in regulating transcription elongation by inhibiting the Positive Transcription Elongation Factor b (P-TEFb) complex, which is essential for proper expression of eukaryotic genes. P-TEFb, composed of catalytic subunit Cdk9 and regulatory subunits Cyclin T1 or T2, is vital for transitioning RNA polymerase II into the elongation phase of transcription. By binding to 7SK small nuclear ribonucleic acid particle, HEXIM2 helps maintain the balance of transcriptional activity, preventing excessive gene expression that could lead to cellular dysfunction. The interaction between HEXIM2 and HEXIM1, which also inhibits P-TEFb, highlights the importance of these proteins in gene regulation and their potential implications in various diseases, including cancer. HEXIM2 exhibits distinct expression patterns across different human tissues, suggesting involvement in tissue-specific regulatory mechanisms.
