Datasheets
  • HEB Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 70-89 near the N-terminus of HEB of human origin
  • recommended for detection of HEB of human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for HEB Antibody (D-5) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with HEB Antibody (D-5) (see ordering information below).

HEB Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects HEB in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HEB, a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during muscle cell differentiation. HEB (D-5) antibody targets a protein primarily located in the nucleus, where HEB forms heterodimers with other bHLH proteins, such as Myo D, to bind to specific E box sequences in promoter regions of muscle-specific genes. Anti-HEB antibody (D-5) recognizes a protein essential for proper activation of genes necessary for muscle cell development and differentiation. HEB undergoes post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation, which can influence activity and stability, thereby impacting muscle differentiation processes. HEB monoclonal antibody (D-5) serves as an essential tool for researchers studying muscle biology and regulatory networks governing myogenic differentiation.
