SEE ALSO...

HEB Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HEB protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-HEB antibody (D-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HEB protein, a member of the helix-loop-helix (HLH) family, plays a crucial role in regulating myogenic differentiation, which is essential for muscle development and regeneration. Specifically, HEB interacts with other basic HLH proteins, such as Myo D, to form heterodimers that bind to E box elements in regulatory regions of muscle-specific genes. This interaction is vital for transcriptional activation of genes involved in muscle cell lineage commitment and differentiation. HEB′s ability to form both homo- and hetero-oligomers allows for precise regulation of gene expression, ensuring muscle cells develop correctly in response to various signaling pathways. Using HEB (D-3) antibody in your research can provide insights into molecular mechanisms governing muscle development and intricate network of protein interactions that facilitate this process.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-28364 X be used instead of the standard form sc-28364?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
