    SEE ALSO...

HEB Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects HEB in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HEB, a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) protein family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression during muscle cell differentiation. HEB (C-7) antibody targets proteins primarily located in the nucleus, where HEB functions as a transcription factor that forms heterodimers with other bHLH proteins, such as Myo D, to bind to E box elements in the promoter regions of muscle-specific genes. This interaction is vital for the activation of genes necessary for muscle development and differentiation, highlighting HEB′s importance in myogenesis and muscle regeneration. The ability of HEB to form both homo- and hetero-oligomers allows for a fine-tuned regulation of gene expression, ensuring that muscle cells develop correctly and efficiently. Anti-HEB antibody (C-7) serves as an essential tool for researchers studying muscle biology and the molecular mechanisms underlying muscle differentiation and development.
