HDAC6 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HDAC6 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HDAC6 (D-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HDAC6 plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes by deacetylating non-histone proteins, which influences various signaling pathways and cellular functions. HDAC6 (D-11) monoclonal antibody recognizes a protein involved in cytoskeleton regulation and essential for proper microtubule functioning, which are vital for cell shape, motility, and intracellular transport. HDAC6′s ability to interact with and deacetylate tubulin highlights its importance in maintaining cellular architecture and function. Dysregulation of HDAC6 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making HDAC6 a significant target for therapeutic intervention.

Does this antibody work for mouse tissue (cryosections) IF ?

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend using this HDAC6 Antibody (D-11): sc-28386 for detection of HDAC6 of mouse origin. It is currently only recommended for detection of HDAC6 of human origin. It is suitable for IF on cryosections for human tissue. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer any alternative antibodies against HDAC6 that are recommended for use with mouse samples. Please check back with us in the future as we are constantly adding new antibodies to our product line.

Each vial contains 200 µg of mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain in 1.0 ml of PBS with < 0.1% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin.
