SEE ALSO...

HAX-1 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HAX-1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HAX-1 antibody (B-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HAX-1, also known as HS1-associated protein X-1, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in the regulation of apoptosis and signal transduction in B cells. HAX-1 localizes primarily in the mitochondria, but is also found in the endoplasmic reticulum and the nuclear envelope, which is significant for involvement in cellular stress responses and survival pathways. HAX-1 interaction with various proteins, such as Polycystin-2, Cortactin, and the K15 protein from Kaposi′s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus, highlights importance in both normal cellular functions and disease states. HAX-1′s co-localization with these proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria suggests a complex role in cellular signaling and structural integrity. HAX-1 gene expression across different tissues further emphasizes a fundamental role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals.
