    SEE ALSO...

GTPBP9 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GTPBP9 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GTPBP9 (G-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GTP-binding protein 9 (GTPBP9), also known as Obg-like ATPase 1 (OLA1), is a 396 amino acid protein that belongs to the Obg-related GTPase family within the translation factors (TRAFAC) class. GTPBP9 plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in regulating translation and ribosome biogenesis, which are essential for protein synthesis and cellular function. GTPBP9 exhibits a preference for binding ATP over GTP, with GTP binding occurring only at high nucleotide concentrations, a characteristic significant for regulatory functions. GTPBP9 contains a C-terminal TGS domain that binds to ligands and an N-terminal G domain that binds nucleotides, and expresses as three isoforms produced by alternative splicing. Understanding GTPBP9 function is vital, as dysregulation may have implications in various biological processes and diseases, including cancer, where protein synthesis irregularities are often observed.
