SEE ALSO...

GRP 75 Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GRP 75 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GRP 75 (D-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GRP 75, also known as Heat Shock Protein Family A (Hsp70) Member 9, plays a crucial role in the mitochondrial matrix, where GRP 75 assists in the translocation and proper folding of nascent polypeptide chains originating from both nuclear and mitochondrial DNA. This function is vital for maintaining mitochondrial integrity and function, as misfolded proteins can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction and contribute to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. GRP 75 expression is particularly important under conditions of cellular stress, such as glucose deprivation, where GRP 75 helps to ensure that essential mitochondrial proteins are correctly folded and functional, thereby supporting cellular survival and metabolic homeostasis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!I requested a free sample of this antibody and I tried it on western blot... It works perfectly!
Date published: 2020-12-21
Rated 4 out of 5 by from works OkWorks well for mice and human samples. however, with same brain samples, we sometimes got non-replicable results

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Funzionamento buono!L'anticorpo anti GRP 75 sc-133137 (Lot #A3119) è stato testato su 2 e 5 µg di lisato proteico, estratto da mitocondri provenienti da cellule HeLa. Come si può notare dall'immagine del Western Blotting allegata, l' anticorpo fornisce un segnale intenso e corrispondente al peso molecolare della proteina da esso riconosciuta.
