GRIP-1 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GRIP-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GRIP-1 (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GRIP-1 protein, also known as nuclear receptor interacting protein 2 (NCoA-2 or Tif2), plays a crucial role as a transcriptional coactivator, facilitating the action of nuclear receptors for steroids, thyroid hormones, and retinoic acids. By enhancing the transcriptional activity of these receptors, GRIP-1 is vital for regulating gene expression in response to hormonal signals, which is essential for numerous physiological processes, including metabolism, development, and cellular differentiation. Additionally, GRIP-1 interacts with other key proteins in the steroid receptor family, such as SRC-1 and RAC3, which are implicated in various cancers, highlighting its importance in both normal physiology and disease states. Anti-GRIP-1 antibody (F-2) effectively detects this protein across multiple species and applications, making GRIP-1 (F-2) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying gene regulation and the molecular mechanisms underlying hormone action.
