GRB2 Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects GRB2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GRB2 antibody (E-1) plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of growth factor-induced activation of Ras proteins, which are pivotal in controlling cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. GRB2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and forms complexes with activated receptor molecules, such as the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and guanine nucleotide exchange factors like SOS1. This localization enables GRB2 to act as a critical adaptor that links receptor activation to downstream signaling cascades, thereby influencing various cellular responses. Additionally, GRB2 is essential during embryogenesis, facilitating the differentiation of endodermal cells and the formation of the epiblast, highlighting its importance in developmental biology. GRB2 (E-1) antibody serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying these complex signaling pathways and their implications in health and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-17813: GRB2 (E-1) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-17813 conjugates.
