SEE ALSO...

GPR43 Antibody (3B3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects GPR43 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GPR43 antibody (3B3) is available as the non-conjugated format. GPR43, also known as FFAR2, is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, which plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) such as acetate and propionate. These SCFAs are produced by gut bacteria and released into the bloodstream, where they influence various cellular processes, including the activation of leukocytes. The interaction of GPR43 with SCFAs is particularly important for the recruitment of immune cells, especially polymorphonuclear cells, to sites of infection, thereby contributing to the body′s immune response. The ability of GPR43 to modulate immune cell activity highlights its potential as a therapeutic target in inflammatory diseases and metabolic disorders. GPR43 monoclonal antibody (3B3) is an essential tool for researchers investigating the role of this receptor in health and disease.
