Datasheets
  • GITRL Antibody (EB11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ GITRL antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against recombinant full length GITRL of human origin
  • recommended for detection of GITRL of human origin by WB, IF, FCM and ELISA
  • available conjugated to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for GITRL Antibody (EB11) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with GITRL Antibody (EB11) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

GITRL Antibody (EB11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the GITRL protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GITRL antibody (EB11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including phycoerythrin (PE) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). GITRL, or glucocorticoid-induced TNF-related ligand, is a polypeptide encoded by a cDNA derived from human umbilical endothelial cells and belongs to the tumor necrosis factor superfamily, which is crucial for regulating a wide array of biological functions such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. GITRL exhibits a type 2 transmembrane topology, a characteristic feature of the TNF family, and is predominantly located on vascular endothelial cells as well as in several peripheral tissues, including the small intestine, ovary, testis, and kidney. This localization suggests GITRL may play a vital role in modulating T lymphocyte survival within these tissues. The interaction between GITRL and GITR is essential for regulating NFκB activation, and this ligand-receptor pair protects cells from activation-induced cell death (AICD), thereby contributing to immune homeostasis.

How can GITRL (EB11): sc-53973 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53973 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53973 FITC).
