SEE ALSO...

GIT1 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GIT1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-GIT1 antibody (A-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GIT1, known as GRK-interactor 1, plays a crucial role in the regulation of G protein-coupled receptor signaling by acting as a GTPase-activating protein for members of the ADP ribosylation factor family, which are essential for vesicular trafficking. GIT1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and at the plasma membrane, where GIT1 interacts with various signaling molecules, thereby influencing cellular responses to external stimuli. Proper localization of GIT1 is vital for maintaining the balance of receptor signaling and ensuring effective cellular communication. Dysregulation of GIT1 can lead to altered receptor internalization and resensitization, impacting processes such as hormone signaling and neurotransmission. Using anti-GIT1 antibody (A-1) in research can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms of G protein-coupled receptor signaling and its implications in various physiological and pathological conditions.
