    SEE ALSO...

GCNF Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects GCNF protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GCNF (B-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Germ cell nuclear factor (GCNF), also known as NR6A1, plays a crucial role in regulating neurogenesis and germ cell development, making GCNF essential for proper reproductive function. GCNF is primarily located in the nucleus, where GCNF can homodimerize and bind to specific DNA sequences, thereby influencing gene expression. This nuclear localization allows GCNF to regulate paracrine interactions between oocytes and somatic cells, particularly through modulation of bone morphogenetic protein-15 and growth differentiation factor-9, which are critical for female fertility. GCNF is predominantly expressed in testis, specifically in spermatocytes and round spermatids, highlighting GCNF′s importance in male reproductive biology. Notably, GCNF gene produces three alternatively spliced transcript variants, which may contribute to diverse regulatory functions in germ cell development.
