GAS41 Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GAS41 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GAS41 (C-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GAS41 plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in tumor biology, as GAS41 is associated with gene amplification linked to tumor stage and progression in human gliomas. This evolutionarily conserved eukaryotic protein relates to AF-9 and ENL proteins, which are implicated as putative transcription factors in certain acute leukemias, and interacts with NuMA, a component of the nuclear matrix, during interphase. GAS41 exhibits a dotted staining pattern in interphase nuclei and uniform distribution in mitotic cells, underscoring GAS41′s importance in cell cycle regulation. GAS41 is ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels found in the human brain, and in neuroblastoma, GAS41 specifically localizes in the nucleoli, highlighting GAS41′s potential role in nucleolar function and cellular stress responses. GAS41′s interaction with MLL fusion partner AF10, involved in chromosomal translocations associated with hematologic malignancies, and binding to INI1, a human homologue of yeast SNF5 protein within the SWI/SNF complex, further emphasize GAS41′s significance in cancer biology.
