    SEE ALSO...

GARNL1 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects GARNL1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GARNL1 monoclonal antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GARNL1, also known as GTPase activating Rap/Ran-GAP domain-like 1, TULIP1, or GRIPE, contains a Rap-GAP domain and plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways. GARNL1 is primarily expressed during embryogenesis, with expression levels decreasing as development progresses, ultimately persisting at high levels only in neurons of the adult brain. GARNL1 is localized in the cytoplasm, where GARNL1 regulates GTP hydrolysis of proteins such as Ran and Rap, which are essential for various cellular processes, including cell division and intracellular transport. GARNL1 is imported into the nucleus through dimerization with E12, and GARNL1 interacts with the HLH region of E12, potentially functioning to negatively regulate the transcription of E12-dependent downstream target genes. This interaction highlights GARNL1′s importance in modulating gene expression during development. In the adult brain, GARNL1′s activity diverges from E12-related functions, suggesting distinct roles in mature neural tissue, thereby underscoring GARNL1′s significance in both developmental and adult cellular contexts.
